Caruna seating is a Research and Development factory in Puducherry. We are into manufacturing of electric wheelchairs for automobiles.

**Job description**:
1. Automotive Component Assembly: Skillfully assemble various automotive components according to established specifications and guidelines, ensuring precision, quality, and safety.

2. Power Tools Operation: Proficiently operate a variety of power tools such as drills, grinders, and impact wrenches to perform necessary tasks during the assembly process.

3a. Drilling and Lathe Work: Expertly utilize drilling equipment and lathe machines to create precise holes, threads, and other necessary modifications on automotive components as required by engineering specifications.

3b. CNC Machine operator: VMC and Lathe (Programming not compulsory but basics of NC-coding required)

4. Machine Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret complex machine drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately comprehend assembly processes, component configurations, and dimensions. Micron level of understanding.

5. Drafting: Utilize drafting skills to create simple sketches, diagrams, or annotations for clarification and documentation purposes, aiding communication between different teams.

6. Electrical Wiring Joining: Safely and effectively perform electrical wiring joining tasks, ensuring proper connections, insulation, and adherence to electrical codes and standards.

7. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on assembled components, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or defects, and ensuring that finished products meet the highest quality standards.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow assemblers, engineers, and supervisors to address technical challenges, share insights, and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts. (Whatsapp, Zoho)

9. Safety Adherence: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following established safety protocols and guidelines while handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.

10. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipm

ent to ensure optimal functionality and extend their operational lifespan.

11. Documentation: Accurately document work processes

**Software skills**:
AutoCad, Solidworks, Microsoft Office, Whatsapp communication

**Languages preferred**:
English, Hindi, Tamil

**Travel requirement**:
Once a month to Mumbai

**Japanese workplace cleanliness skills**:1S, 2S
