Scope Of Work*- Primary- Shared Across Functionally- To monitor the progress of project work with respect to schedule, man-hours spent keeping in view the quality aspect.
- Identify training needs for departmental staff and arrange class room or on the job training.
- Establish norms for various departmental activities.
- To ensure tracking of productivity of engineering deliverables
- Allot manpower for projects and review and optimize man hours
- Assimilate emerging new technologies and develop capabilities to carry out designs.
- Develop & ensure a system for customer relationship management; customer complaints & response time
- Create new business opportunities through proposals
- Ensure tracking of productivity of engineering deliverables
- Ensure adherence to the Engineering Schedule (Meeting critical milestones)
- Ensure SOPS are in place and error free deliverables as per standard quality requirements
- Ensure norms improvement through tech improvements
- Ensure up-gradation of skills in new thrust technical areas
- Ensure implementation of Performance Measurement System in his area of work
- Ensure successor development
- Ensure participation as an Assessor for TLP / MLP
- Lead the team of engineers, designers/draftsman, and modelers and provide technical support and guidance. Interact with various disciplines, vendors & clients. And resolve the IDC issues
- Relationships Management*- Internal- External- Interaction with other discipline LEs / Team members and Project Team- Interaction with Vendors / Clients / Third party members- Key Result Areas*- To ensure Engineering Man hours as per Budget
- To ensure SOPs are in place and error free deliverables as per Standard
- To ensure Up gradation of Skills in new Tech Areas
- To ensure preparation of Proposals with proper data
- To ensure process improvements through SGAs
- To ensure participation in Campus Recruitments
- To ensure implementation of Performance Measurement System in his area of work
- To ensure Engineering Man hours as per Budget
