Job Description : (PGT) - History

1. Curriculum Development:

- Develop and update curriculum content, lesson plans, and instructional materials for history classes.
- Align curriculum with educational standards and objectives, ensuring students receive a comprehensive understanding of historical topics.

2. Classroom Instruction:

- Deliver engaging and informative lectures, presentations, and discussions on various historical periods, events, and cultures.
- Use effective teaching strategies, multimedia resources, and technology to enhance student learning experiences.

3. Student Assessment:

- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, exams, and projects to evaluate students' understanding and knowledge of historical concepts.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them identify areas of improvement and encouraging critical thinking.

4. Classroom Management:

- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, respect, and open discussion.
- Manage classroom behavior and address disciplinary issues in accordance with school policies.

5. Individualized Support:

- Provide one-on-one assistance to students who need extra help in grasping historical concepts or improving their academic performance.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to students, helping them set academic and career goals.

6. Professional Development:

- Stay updated with new historical research, teaching methodologies, and educational technologies through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

7. Parent and Community Engagement:

- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and community activities to foster a collaborative educational environment.

8. Extracurricular Activities:

- Organize and supervise history-related extracurricular activities, such as history clubs, debates, quizzes, and field trips to historical sites.

9. Administrative Duties:

- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including maintaining attendance records, grading assignments, and submitting required reports in a timely manner.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A Master's degree in History or a related field.
- Bachelor’
- In-depth knowledge of historical events, cultures, and theories across various time periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software for instructional purposes.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities, assessments, and administrative responsibilities.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

- Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
