Chief Warden

We the Leading & Emerging University in South Tamil Nadu is located near Kanyakumari, Vadakangulam, TN -627 116.

The Chief Warden will make arrangements for the residence, mess, supervision and discipline of students residing in the University hostels or any other duty assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor. He is the drawing and disbursement officer in respect of hostels. He is also responsible for the smooth functioning of the hostels and allocation of available accommodation/seats to the students in consultation with the Additional Chief Warden and Wardens in accordance with the rules.

Hostels have facilities of Mess, Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and LAN, Common Room equipped with LED TV, current magazines, newspapers and Indoor games. A Dining a Hall is maintained hygienically Hall is maintained hygienically for boarders to enjoy their meals. The boarders are given representation through various committees of the hostel in managing routine affairs. The Warden alongwith different committee(s) maintain discipline, academic and peaceful atmosphere in the hostel. Besides, all hostels are under CCTV surveillance **24x7**.

Prevent emergencies wherever possible by regularly assessing the current condition of the workplace and its hazards.

Make staff in the building aware of any hazards within the building, as well as the control measures and management procedures for said hazards.

Know the location of your building’s fire panel, exits and evacuation routes. If you are unsure, enlist the guidance of your campus Asset and Facilities Coordinator/Security Officer

Regularly report to local management on building emergency management issues.

Debrief emergency wardens after every emergency evacuation.

ensure that the appropriate emergency service has been notified,

ensure that the Floor Wardens are advised of the situation,

**Qualification**: UG with PG will be added advantage

**Languages**: English, Tamil, Hindi

**Experience** : 15+yrs in relevant field, (at-least 5+yrs in University -must)

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
