responsible for the day-to-day running of a section of a restaurant kitchen, and their duties include:

- Food preparation: Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in their specialty, and ensuring consistency and quality
- Food safety: Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are maintained, including proper storage of ingredients and cleaning.
- Inventory management: Monitoring the list of ingredients and supplies, and ordering as needed
- Team management: Leading, supervising, and motivating the shift team, and training any demi-chefs or commis chefs
- Budget control: Monitoring portion and waste control to keep within budget
- Resource management: Helping to reduce the department's use of resources, such as gas, electricity, and water
- Kitchen set up and clean up: Setting up the kitchen before opening and cleaning it before closing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Chef: 3 years (preferred)
