**About Us**:Shalom Backpackers a vibrant and popular backpacker hostel known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest experiences. We're currently seeking a Front Desk Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable stay.
- As a Front Desk at Shalom Backpackers, you will be the face of our hostel, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for travelers from around the world. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including review generation, housekeeping management, chemical knowledge, accounting, property quality control, and guest experience enhancement.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front Desk Management**:Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
Provide information about the hostel, local attractions, and services.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.

**Review Generation**:Encourage guests to leave positive reviews on online platforms.
Monitor and respond to guest reviews, addressing any concerns or issues.
Implement strategies to improve the hostel's online reputation.

**Housekeeping Management**:Coordinate with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Manage housekeeping schedules and inventory of cleaning supplies.

**Chemical Knowledge**:Understand and safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Train housekeeping staff on the proper use of cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

**Accounting**:Handle guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and online bookings.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Assist in preparing financial reports and budgeting.

**Property Quality Control**:Conduct routine inspections to ensure the hostel's facilities and amenities meet quality standards.
Identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement necessary upgrades or repairs.

**Guest Experience Enhancement**:Organize and promote social events and activities to enhance the guest experience.
Collect guest feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Implement initiatives to create a memorable and enjoyable stay for guests.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic accounting and computer software (e.g., MS Office, reservation systems).
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards.
- Enthusiasm for travel and a passion for creating positive guest experiences.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
