Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop GIS training materials: Create user-friendly training programs, guides, tutorials, presentations, and course materials to cover all aspects of GIS usage (software, spatial analysis, cartography, data management, etc.).
- Conduct training sessions: Deliver in-person, online, or hybrid training workshops on GIS software and tools like ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Google Earth, and other geospatial technologies.
- Provide hands-on practice: Guide trainees through practical exercises, labs, and real-world case studies to reinforce learning.
- Evaluate and assess trainee performance: Monitor and assess participants' progress through quizzes, assignments, and feedback forms, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Update and maintain course content: Stay current with the latest developments in GIS technology and continuously update training programs and materials accordingly.
- Collaborate with teams: Work with other GIS professionals, trainers, and stakeholders to enhance training initiatives, identify training needs, and develop customized programs.
- Indulge and support the Research & Development team for the ongoing projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in using GIS software, including ArcGIS, QGIS, and other geospatial tools.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a GIS-related role
- Strong understanding of spatial data, cartography, and geographic data collection methods (e.g., GPS, remote sensing).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for GIS analysis (preferred).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, PostGIS).

**Skills**:

- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training sessions.
- Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
- Adaptability to work with diverse audiences with varying levels of GIS knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and instructional software/tool

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in GIS (e.g., Esri Technical Certification, GISP certification).
- Experience in urban planning, environmental management, or disaster response sectors.
- Experience developing e-learning content or delivering virtual training.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel to training locations (if applicable).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
