**Your role**
- Do you have ability to analyse, assess, and discharge UBS's global shareholding reporting and disclosure obligations for regions Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) by performing below list of core activities- analyse and calculate UBS’s holdings in listed stocks, perform daily position monitoring and disclosure preparation in accordance with substantial shareholding reporting requirements in respective jurisdictions
- act as a first level reviewer to ensure that the procedures have been followed by junior analysts in performing the position monitoring and data quality assurance processes as per Standard Operating Procedures
- ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely preparation of the disclosures
- provide first-level support to junior analysts in case of queries and act as an escalation point
- respond to issuer’s request on ultimate beneficial ownership shareholding reporting
- provide timely advice to the business upon request on regulatory reporting obligations in relevant jurisdictions and provide timely trade approvals to the business upon request to trade in restricted stocks.

**Your team**
- You will be part of the broader Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) and a member of the EMEA Group Shareholding Reporting team located in UBS BSC Mumbai (Airoli). Global Shareholding Reporting (GSR) is a central function and consists of three regional teams covering EMEA, AMER, and APAC that covers all business divisions (Global Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Bank, Personal & Corporate, Group Functions). GSR is responsible for monitoring and reporting UBS Group’s substantial shareholding positions as stipulated for the respective jurisdictions for APAC [ex Japan], EMEA and Americas regions.

**Your expertise**
- a university degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Management
- first work experience in banking domain experience with knowledge on financial products and/or regulatory reporting orwork experience in Legal and Compliance is an added advantage
- a passion for data gathering, data analysis and information sharing
- good English communication and writing skills
- computer literacy skills with expertise on MS Excel and knowledge in VBA is an advantage.
- a team player and multitasker, who is comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment and interactive with colleagues at all levels
- very detail oriented and have the ability to efficiently analyse and process large amounts of data at high accuracy
- a proactive, enthusiastic individual, keen observer with good analytical and problem solving skills
- client oriented with focus on excellent service quality.
