**About the Role**:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Associate

**Responsibilities**
- Review completeness of AU maintenance requests daily.
- Complete quality control reviews on AU request to ensure standard processing. Escalate all issues for further review.
- Perform initial intake assessment for centralization of manual journal entries.
- Evaluate and track exceptions to standardize processes.
- Identify and escalate potential gaps derived from quality reviews that may result in risk to Wells Fargo. Escalate risk to management.
- Document end-to-end process procedures including dependencies, controls, inputs/outputs, gap identification.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives to ensure compliance and manage risk
- Maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
- Knowledge of Project management or Agile JIRA tool.
- Work with Lines of Businesses & Support functions to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance

**Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's/ Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Ability to assess compliance with policies and procedures
- Experience resolving and working through issues
- Solid critical thinking skills
- Strong analytical skills with high diligence and accuracy

**Desired Qualifications**
- 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including monthly close, management reporting, Journal entries and General Ledger, Hierarchy/AU change management.
- Industry experience strongly preferred. Advanced Essbase knowledge preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
