Audit Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Statement Audits**: Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of financial statement audits, including:
- Substantive testing of transactions and balances
- Internal control assessment and testing
- Preparation of audit workpapers and documentation
- Identification and communication of audit findings
- **Specialized Audits**: Gain exposure to various types of audits, potentially including:
- GST audits and reconciliations
- Inventory and fixed asset verification
- Statutory audits or other compliance-related engagements
- **Reporting**: Contribute to the drafting of audit reports and management letters, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- **Client Communication**: Participate in client meetings and discussions under supervision, developing professional communication skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Recent Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Desired (Not Mandatory)**:
- Pursuit of CA or other professional accounting certifications.
- Prior internship experience in an audit or accounting setting.
