Brief Overview of the Job Description:
The COO will play a critical executive role, overseeing the organization's overall operations, program management, and fundraising strategies. This position is responsible for driving growth, enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute strategies to expand the distribution from 50K to 100 million vials.- Develop, identify and build programs to deliver on target in conjunction with the CEO.- Lead and execute strategic planning initiatives to enhance distribution and operational efficiency.- Develop relationships with national, state, local authorities and community leaders.- Coordinate with government bodies, local communities, healthcare providers, and NGOs for distribution efforts.- Oversee the logistics and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery.- Monitor and report on the progress of distribution activities.- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines during distribution.- Train and lead a team for effective field operations.- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.- Gather data and insights for continuous improvement of operations.- Represent the organization in meetings with partners like Vitamin Angels.- Facilitate community engagement and awareness programs.
- Address and resolve challenges faced during field operations.

Technologies to be used: Basic MS Office.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or related field.- 8-12 years of experience in field operations, supply chain, or NGO work, especially in rural settings.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.

Knowledge: Understanding of public health issues, supply chain and logistics, rural community dynamics.

Work Environment: The role involves a blend of office work for strategic planning and fundraising activities, and fieldwork in rural areas for operational execution.

Key Performance Indicators: Increase in vial distribution numbers, efficiency in supply chain management, team performance.
