**Job Title - **Agile Product Owner, AVP**

**Location - Pune**

**Role Description**

The Agile Product Owner is accountable for maximising the value of products delivered with their multidisciplinary agile team, the products may be purely IT-technical, non-technical or a combination.
They are the primary interface to internal and external customers, users and stakeholders, being accountable for the product vision, delivery roadmap, product backlog and the realisation of the agreed product outcomes, meeting relevant quality parameters.
The Product Owner aligns scope and priorities to relevant strategic goals and requirements of customers, users, stakeholders, and their team. In defining priorities, they use a combination of value, delivery effort and dependency information, ensuring value is delivered as early as possible and maximised overall.
They are a constant source of guidance and review feedback for their agile team and stakeholders, they also sign-off work products completed by the agile team.

**Contextual Banking**:Financial services are becoming more and more embedded in the life and business process contexts of people and companies (Small, Medium and Large Corporates). This evolution of the market means that Banks and other financial service providers need to deliver their products in an easily consumable and standardized way to encourage easier Customer adoption and integration. This standardization is the steppingstone to be able to become the ‘platform of choice’ for financial services.

Contextual banking is a SaaS financial product platform revolving around client use cases and or industry specific solutions which will allow DB to not only offer their own products but also external services (ancillary, non-banking) through industry partners and service integrators.

The Contextual Banking initiative will deliver products and services that are easy to integrate, accessible, consumable and allows our clients to integrate more deeply with DB delivering greater value beyond banking. These services will also open new channels to distribute our financial products through Service integrators, partner companies who provide products and services that are closer to the Customer’s business context.

Smooth and seamless onboarding of clients onto the contextual banking platform is extremely crucial towards the success of the product and to increase the adoption. This process includes activities like initial client engagements, understanding client ecosystem to arrive at the possible solution approaches, engineering aspects related integration layer between client systems and Contextual Banking platform, data migration and so on.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Run a Scrum team in a self-reliant manner.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain, among other things, the product backlog of your Scrum team and ensure reconciliation with other product backlogs.
- Rely on existing structures and product components by considering your own understanding of relevant stakeholders within the organization.
- Actively participate in the development of the overall product strategy and ensure that it is transparent to the relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively identify possible improvements in the Customer Journey
- Actively live the product mind set (i.e., understanding of the product as a solution for a dedicated customer demand) and participate in existing Communities of Practice.

**Your skills and experience**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, e.g. information systems or computer science
- Experience working with in an agile team and with Scrum methodology and work collaboratively with the Bank’s businesses and divisions for defining and delivering innovative products.
- Willingness and intrinsic motivation to convert an innovative idea into a tangible product while focusing on the value add for the business.
