Marketing Faculty

_**Job context**:_
- We are looking for a creative and qualified Assistant Professor in Department of Management for Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim with 3+ years of experience in academia/industry and who is passionate about teaching and ready to develop and deliver quality content for assigned courses. We need a person ready to take the responsible and challenging opportunities in order to exhaust his/her knowledge and skills to the fullest extent._

**Roles and Responsibilities: -**
- _Delivering course curriculum in classroom and/or online, which includes ensuring student awareness of course objectives, approach and evaluation techniques and planning lectures pertaining to core aspects of discipline with industrial relevance._
- _Developing e-learning content for the LMS incorporating technology into the learning process_
- _Developing methods of innovative teaching practices involving community, government / private organizations, competitions to the learning outcomes of the curriculum._
- _Encouraging students to actively participate throughout the class, field activity and on job training/apprenticeships._
- _Assisting in assessing the skill gaps among students and align interventions for upgradation from time to time._
- _Facilitate, evaluate and monitor the students’ performance during field project, awareness programmes, and On Job Training at Industry_
- _Supporting in establishing/designing labs / workshops and conducting lab sessions in consultation with prestigious Industry / Knowledge Partners, R&D centres._
- _Participating in developmental role like brand promotion, resource mobilization, conducting seminars/ workshops, sports, extracurricular activities, assessing Library requirements, and organizing foundation course-planning, and other outreach activities_
- _May allocate additional duties/ responsibilities within a staff members' skill, competence and training._
- _**PhD in Management**_ _will be preferred._
- _**Minimum of 3 years of experience**_ _in teaching / research / industry after Masters_
- _Combination of Academia and Industry Experience is preferable_
- _Hands on Practice and Application Skills on recent Industry trends and technology is a must._

**Skills: -**
- _Excellent communication in English_
- _Knowledge of local language of Sikkim is preferable_
- _Presentation skills and Good interpersonal skills_
