Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Translate a variety of written content from Malayalam to English, including documents, articles, websites, and other materials, while ensuring accuracy and fidelity to the original meaning.
- Interpret cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to convey the intended message effectively in English.
- Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure grammatical correctness, clarity, and coherence.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct research and consult reference materials to ensure accuracy and completeness of translations, especially for technical or specialized content.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Communicate with clients to clarify translation requirements, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, language developments, and terminology to continuously improve translation quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in both Malayalam and English, with native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam.
- Proven experience in translation from Malayalam to English, preferably in a professional or academic setting.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in Malayalam and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in translation tools and software (e.g., CAT tools) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
