**Job Description for Sr. Commercial Manager**:
1. Preparation of AOP & Financial controls to bring synergies in Revenue v/s cost.
2. Development of P.O Process & verification of issued P. O’s.
3. Assessment of Vendor Bills & Vendor Data Management.
4. Improve billing & collection efficiency by proper tracking & reducing lead time in stage wise billing.
5. Implement cost optimization strategies like vendor negotiation, transportation, manpower and other expenses.
6. Review the LD report and find out the solution to reduce or charge to vendor.
7. Setting up or upgrading the process wherever needed.
8. Visit shipyards, ship owners, marine consultants, engineering cos. Offshore vessel owners like, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Indian Ports, Oil & Gas companies etc.
9. Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations.
10. Analysis monthly MIS & Reporting structure for better review & controls like budget vs actual cost, sales vs collection, tender vs sales order, etc.
11. Contract Management (Assessment, Approval, New Contract Development)
12. Team Development
13. Solution Driven System Set up
14. Inventory Management
15. To give commercial review for ERP system run smoothly and preparing SOP’s for smooth transition.
16. Procurement & Vendor Development (if required)
**Job skills for Sr. Commercial Manager**
1. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Commercial Team Management, customer management & Vendor Management
2. Strong communication, data analytics and presentation skills
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
4. Good negotiation capabilities
5. MBA preferred but not necessary with relevant experience
6. Must be team oriented and results focused
