**Position**: Accounts Executive

Experience **:1 to 3 years only**

**Reports To**: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

**Job Overview**:
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the finance team in the preparation of financial statements. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with reconciliations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Accounts Payable & Receivable**:

- Process invoices, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
- Maintain records of incoming payments and ensure timely collection.
- Reconcile discrepancies in payments and resolve issues with vendors and customers.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.

2. **Financial Record Keeping**:

- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e,g Tally)
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
- Prepare journal entries for all transactions and post to the general ledger.

3. **Bank Reconciliations**:

- Reconcile bank statements with internal accounting records on a monthly basis.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between the bank and general ledger.

4. **Tax Compliance & Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, sales tax, income tax, etc.) and ensure timely filings.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies.

5. **Assist with Financial Reporting**:

- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Help in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

6. **General Administrative Support**:

- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist senior staff with special financial projects as needed.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Experience with accounting software (**Tally**.)

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills in spreadsheets, pivot tables, and financial formulas).**:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies quickly.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
