About your team

Fidelity is investing in its Enterprise Architecture team with the purpose to serve the needs of Fidelity by enabling the Business, Technology and Data strategies to flourish to realise the targeted business opportunities and value.

Overall, the functions aim is to:

- Unite Business, Technology and Data strategies into a technology roadmap
- Lead the transformation of Fidelity's technology estate
- Align innovation with strategy and business need
- Provide strategic thought-leadership for Fidelity
- Commission key strategy change and drive adoption.
- Ensure efficient use of change investment leading to maximum business value return
- Operate across technical, organisation and process challenges to drive design of enterprise solutions.
- Instigate and direct Delivery’s regulatory and compliance engagement, verifying success through governance checks

Educate technology and business on solutions and technologies that are relevant for the strategies

About your role

The role is part of a Transformation Data program within the business area WPFH. As part of this transformation we are moving towards a data domain driven architecture to support our businesses with the right data and technology. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the data architecture for the data domains in alignment to the data architecture strategy for the Workplace Personal Financial Health (WPFH) global portfolio.

This requires the analysis and delivery of a clear articulation of both the current and future state data architecture. By working closely with your Portfolio colleagues, you will develop roadmaps for the data transition stages to achieve the business strategy goals and support the value outcomes, whilst ensuring alignment to the Enterprise data strategy blueprint.”

You will be work primarily in domain teams within the Data Architecture Transformation program. You would align to the global data architecture team and work alongside your peers who are responsible for delivering data architecture for the other business portfolio functions (ISS and Corporate Enablers), along with a core group of Enterprise data architects responsible for core data strategies i.e. data lake.

To give a sense of scale, Fidelity spends ~ $500m on Technology per year and about 30% of that is allocated to the WPFH business. The Enterprise Architecture team, and this role specifically for WPFH, provides direction and acts as guardian for this investment
