Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team at an Earthmoving and Material Handling Equipment Manufacturing Company. As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling our range of earthmoving and material handling equipment to potential customers. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction and industrial equipment market.
**Responsibilities**:
Generate new leads and actively seek out potential customers in the construction and industrial sectors to promote and sell our earthmoving and material handling equipment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their specific needs and providing appropriate equipment solutions.
Conduct thorough product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations with customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and value of our equipment.
Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers, ensuring accurate pricing, terms, and conditions are included.
Collaborate with the sales team, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of customer requirements, equipment availability, and delivery schedules.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to showcase our products, build brand awareness, and establish new business connections.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, regularly reporting sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to the sales manager.
Provide excellent post-sales support to customers, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and facilitating efficient equipment maintenance and repairs.
Continuously enhance product knowledge through training programs, workshops, and self-study to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the construction or industrial equipment industry.
Strong understanding of earthmoving and material handling equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, and related machinery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets while demonstrating a high level of initiative and persistence.
Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Ability to analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer information, track sales activities, and generate reports.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, trade shows, and other events as required.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
