As a GST Executive, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

- GST Compliance:

- Preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Monitoring changes in GST laws and regulations and implementing necessary updates to ensure compliance.
- Handling GST audits and assessments, responding to queries, and providing necessary documentation to tax authorities.
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) Management:

- Reconciliation of purchase registers, input tax credit availed, and preparation of reconciliation statements.
- Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in input tax credit claims.
- GST Advisory and Planning:

- Providing guidance and support to internal departments on GST implications for various business transactions.
- Assisting in the structuring of transactions to optimize GST benefits and minimize tax liabilities.
- Record-keeping and Documentation:

- Maintaining accurate records of all GST-related transactions, invoices, and documents.
- Ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements as per GST laws.
- Liaison with Tax Authorities:

- Acting as a point of contact for interactions with tax authorities regarding GST matters.
- Addressing queries, attending hearings, and resolving issues related to GST compliance.
- Training and Awareness:

- Conducting training sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance awareness and understanding of GST regulations and compliance requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Qualified or Semi qualified CA or CMA are also preferred.
- Proven work experience as a GST Executive or similar role, with a deep understanding of GST laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Certification in GST or Taxation (preferred).
