Corporate Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Advocate with 2 years of experience to join our legal/compliance team. The Corporate Advocate will act as a key liaison between the company and external stakeholders, ensuring legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage legal and corporate responsibilities, offer sound advice on corporate governance, and support internal departments in navigating legal risks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Legal & Compliance Support**:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of corporate governance policies and procedures. Provide legal advice on regulatory matters, corporate structuring, and corporate transactions.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:
Serve as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including business leaders, external partners, and legal representatives. Represent the company in communications regarding legal or regulatory matters.Identify and assess potential risks related to corporate policies, operational processes, and legal concerns. Help mitigate risks through compliance programs and legal recommendations.Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including vendor, partnership, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.Advise internal teams, such as HR, Finance, and Operations, on legal and compliance matters. Ensure that the organization is compliant with applicable local, state, and international laws.Support the creation of training programs on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Promote awareness of legal and regulatory standards across departments.Assist in resolving legal disputes or challenges that arise internally or externally. Collaborate with external legal teams, as necessary, to manage litigation and claims.Conduct research on legal, corporate, and regulatory issues that affect the company’s operations. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding compliance and legal updates.
