IT Technician

**Job Title**: Lab Technician - Hardware, Networking, and Technical Equipment Installation

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Hardware Management**:

- Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
- Conduct routine maintenance and performance checks on lab equipment.
- **Networking**:

- Set up and configure LAN, WAN, and wireless networks within the lab.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Ensure network security and optimal performance.
- **Technical Equipment Installation**:

- Install and configure various technical devices, including servers, switches, and routers.
- Provide technical support for setup and integration of specialized equipment.
- **System Support**:

- Perform diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Document and log all activities, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting steps.
- **Lab Operations**:

- Maintain inventory of lab equipment and spare parts.
- Ensure proper calibration and safe operation of technical equipment.
- Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs).

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Background**: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Proficiency in computer hardware components, assembly, and repair.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with installation and configuration of network equipment.
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- **Certifications**:

- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

**Work Environment**:

- Physical tasks may include lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to [insert weight].
- Primarily an indoor laboratory environment with occasional site visits.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, as required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
