We are pleased to launch the ExcelHer program - the career returnship program at Volvo Group in India. The program is for women who have been on a career break for a year or more. This is our step towards empowering women to relaunch their professional journey after their absence from the workplace due to personal commitments. Exciting work assignments have been identified which you can refer in the list below.

The assignments are for a tenure of 9 months. The participant of this program would have access to professional development programs, mentoring assistance by a business leader, apart from the experience of working with people from different functions/technologies/culture.

About the team:
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Vehicle configuration study by using cad data (virtual build data)
- Interaction with cross functional team to understand Architectural changes in the truck.
- Identify weight impacted area for each project and calculate axle load distribution.
- Develop weight tool for internal and external use.

Skills Required:

- Mandatory Skill Sets:

- Vehicle Architecture/Integration skill
- Automotive product development knowledge
- Hands-on experience in Creo, Catia, AutoCAD and PDM software
- Effective communication skill
- Secondary Skill Sets:

- Knowledge about Vehicle level weight and CG calculation
- Hands on experience in Power Automate/Power-BI.
- Curious with a strong willingness to learn.

Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors or master's in mechanical/production/Automobile engineering with 3-5 years of experience within automotive domain.
