Revenue Accounting Subject Matter Expert

Bengaluru, India LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Full time

PURPOSE: as part of LSEG’s ERPM Program, Revenue Accounting SME is responsible for supporting the revenue recognition process design and several project activities included in scope. The role will report to the R2R Workstream Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Degree or equivalent and / or relevant professional qualification.
- Working experience in IFRS15, revenue recognition rules, constant currency reporting, ASV, billing.
- Understanding of Cash In (Order to Cash), Intercompany and Tax processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Work with key Finance stakeholders to understand revenue reporting requirements for the future state and help drive its implementation.
- Recommend process improvements to bring automation and controls compliance.
- Ensure all required data fields are included in the appropriate environment (GL vs subledger).
- Work closely with Global Process Owners across functions and stakeholders in other teams such as FP&A, Billing, Tax and Controllership.
- Ensure operational compliance with local and group policies and internal control framework.
