- Areas of Work: Wiring Harness Schematics Design
- Specific Knowledge: (Skill / Languages etc.)- Extensive design experience of designing circuit schematics and Engineering change management projects for automotive.
- Good Knowledge of connector inline topology and ground topology
- Expertise in circuit simulations, load calculation, Voltage Drop calculations, Fault Finding & Design solutions for failures
- 2D/3D MCAD/ECAD bridge synchronization
- Implementation of unique requirements for circuits as required to protect the integrity of the signal (e.g. twisting, shielding, voltage rating, voltage drops, max resistance, specifying insulation type of Tempreture, dynamics, etc.)
- Cable definition - assign circuit, define cable gauge, stranding, insulation type, cable colour, etc.
- Knowledge of different CAN Bus protocols and hardwares layers
- Design innovative and robust solutions that meet Mercedes Benz Standards
- Collaborations with other functions groups and represent the EDS Department within the project team, reporting information, concern, and milestones achievements from the department to the project and vice versa
- Support all phases of vehicle build from Concept to Production
- Support the design review with customers, manufacturing, supplier and engineering areas
- Participations and collaboration with wider engineering team

**Qualifikationen**:

- Experienced in at least one of the industry wide 3D CAD Design packages with wire harness design routing add-ons (Unigraphics NX, CATIA, etc.)
- Proficiency in ECAD Tool like PREEvision, CHS, Zuken, etc.
- Experience within the automotive industry or similar domain experience
- Good Understanding of automotive electrical Low voltage and High voltage Sensors and components
- Automotive market trend knowledge
- Good Understanding of product development cycle
