As the Data Modelling Professional in our Liability Strategy, Analytics and Modelling team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

**Responsibilities**:

- D eveloping best-in-class strategy and quantitative analytics and models to support the management of the firm's assets and liabilities i n close conjunction with the treasury departments of other Lines of Business.
- Areas of focus include building out an analytical deposit framework used for IRR, migration and NII forecasting; expanding existing suite of internal regression models to deliver forecasts for industry deposit balances; and defining the top-down distribution of balances to the firm and Line of Businesses.
- The research and strategy Associate will conduct research and contribute to the development of analytics in various aspects of bank liability management. The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Develop tools and model prototypes in support of ALM strategy team
- Support the creation of both ad-hoc and systematic tools for large data set analytics
- Develop advanced data analytics to model liability behavior
- Evaluate and analyze firm's liability risks

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- 5+ years hands on experience developing and managing databases and analytical tools
- 1 - 2 years of work experience in the finance/banking industry
- Strong academic background with a degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, economics or any other quantitative or technical background with a strong interest in finance
- Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries, procedures and general working knowledge of databases
- Strong programming skills: excellence in Python and Excel/VBA is a must
- Experience in quantitative modeling using Python or any other object-oriented-programming (OOP) language is a plus
- A self-starter who is able to independently work in a fast paced, results driven environment
- Willingness to dive into details and dig deep into data to find answers to challenging question
