Key Responsibilities:
Fiber Splicing: Perform splicing and maintenance of fiber optic cables indoors and outdoors.
Installation and Repairs: Install new cables, repair damaged cables, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Use OTDRs, power meters, and other specialized equipment to test and verify cable performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of splicing activities, test results, and cable layouts. Update internal systems with completed work details. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during field operations, including the use of PPE and proper handling of equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members including Field Technicians, Network Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure timely project completion.
Site Preparation: Set up work areas, including splicing trailers, and manage tools and equipment inventory.
Emergency Response: Be available for on-call shifts to address emergency repairs and service disruptions outside of standard working hours.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Technical degree is a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fiber optic splicing, preferably within the telecommunications or ISP industry

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
