**Brief on the Organization**:
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders.
- Project Brief:
The Endocrinology Masterclass is a specialized online educational program to provide new & practical knowledge in the field of endocrinology. It is directed towards clinical endocrinologists & those in training (DM and DNB and aspiring endocrinologists). Eminent leaders, specialist and experts from the field are involved. The program comprises of Clinical Grand Rounds, conducted every fortnight on a Friday/Saturday evening using zoom webinar. The core purpose is to use clinical material to educate participants on the wide spectrum of clinical presentations of endocrine disorder using a standardized pedagogic process. The program content is designed to enable prospective endocrinologists to acquire strong foundations in all aspects of endocrinology and enhance presentation skills. The program aims to train over 300 DM/DNB trainees or early career endocrinologists. First cycle of the program was conducted successfully and currently is in its second phase.
- Deliverables:
- Management and coordination of all components of Endocrinology masterclass program conducted in the framework of an interdisciplinary multi-partner collaboration across the country.
- Serve as associate focal point for the program secretariat for communication with renowned Experts, Faculty, Participants and Partner Institutions.
- Play an integral role in organizing and managing resource intensive National Level Meetings; this involves human resource and logístical issues.
- Support overall operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrollments, meetings, documentation, session planning etc.)
- Prepare and disseminate an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and ultilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program.
- Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
- Report on a day-to-day basis to the Project Manager regarding project and seek timely advice wherever necessary.
- Contribute to writing documentation papers and project/ scientific reports.
- Writing proposals and budgets.
- Communication for program secretariat to communicate with renowned Faculty, Participants and Partner Institutions.
- Play an integral role in organizing and managing resource intensive meetings; this involves human resource and logístical issues.
- Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
- Preparing and disseminating of an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and utilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program.
- Preparing and disseminating in-advance micro-plans for faculty and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between partners.
- Conducting and assist in monitoring and quality assurance activities.
- Draft program progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Deputy Director/Project Manager.
- Travel as and when required.
- Any other task as assigned by the Deputy Director, Project Manager & Project PI.
- Qualification:

- Post graduate degree in Public Health/PGDHM/PGDPHM / PG in Social Work with Public Health Experience.
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with willingness to travel at a short notice and work for extended hours or as required.
