**Position Name**: Content Writer

**Position Summary**:A content writer at an NGO is responsible for creating engaging and impactful written content that supports the organization's mission and goals. They produce articles, blog posts, social media updates, and other written materials to raise awareness, educate the public, and inspire action. The content writer conducts research, collaborates with team members, and ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of the messaging. They should have strong writing skills, a passion for social causes, and the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Content Creation**: Developing compelling and informative content for various mediums, such as website articles, blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, press releases, and reports, that align with the NGO's mission and objectives.
- **Research and Fact-Checking**: Conducting thorough research to gather accurate and up-to-date information on relevant topics related to the NGO's work, ensuring the content is well-researched and credible.
- **Storytelling**: Using storytelling techniques to convey the impact and success stories of the NGO's programs, initiatives, and beneficiaries, helping to create an emotional connection with the audience.
- **Messaging and Branding**: Ensuring that the content consistently reflects the NGO's brand identity, values, and messaging guidelines to maintain a coherent and unified voice across different communication channels.
- **Social Media Management**: Creating and scheduling engaging and shareable content for the NGO's social media platforms, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends and conversations related to the NGO's cause.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**: Working closely with other team members, such as program managers, fundraisers, and communications professionals, to gather information, understand campaign objectives, and align content with overall organizational strategies.
- **Editing and Proofreading**: Reviewing and editing content for grammar, spelling, clarity, consistency, and adherence to the NGO's style and tone guidelines, ensuring error-free and professional-quality content.
- **Monitoring and Analytics**: Tracking and analyzing the performance of content using analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, and impact, and using the insights to optimize future content strategies.
- **Stay Updated**: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and developments in content marketing, storytelling, and social media to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to content creation.
- **Adherence to Ethical Standards**: Ensuring that all content produced follows ethical guidelines, respects confidentiality, and adheres to copyright laws and intellectual property rights.
- **Advocacy and Awareness**: Collaborating with the NGO's advocacy team to create content that raises awareness about social issues, influences public opinion, and drives positive change.

Overall, the content writer at an NGO plays a vital role in effectively communicating the organization's mission, impact, and initiatives to various stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, and the general public. **Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
