**Location : North/South Goa**
**Job Description of Beach Lifeguard Administrator (No. of positions :30)**:
Overall administration of Lifeguard & Beach cleaning services in assigned beaches of Goa. Digitised & manual documentation/ data maintenance & enhancing the tourism experience through internal/ external communications are the main focus area for this job role.
Duties include:
**Administrative**:
Report & maintain the various data, attendance & incidents on daily basis
Interact with Tourist for their safety, Educating the Tourists on Beach Safety Rules
Lifeguard departments attendance administration ( weekly offs & other leaves in conjunction with beach captain) on day to day basis
Follow up with the maintenance department for maintenance jobs and preparation of weekly reports. Support in the aging stock % reduction by informing & updating the maintenance department
Inspect & audit beach operations
Assist in the maintenance of Lifeguard Centre and Tower
Maintain the Documentation related to the QMS system
Stock audit of stores and Towers
Handle the technology systems like biometrics, cameras, beach robots, surveillance systems & other equipments related to beach lifeguarding activities
Ensure all employees, are wearing masks & following hygiene by using hand wash & sanitizers as per required
Ensure social distancing through adequate distance between shifts & staggering the lunch breaks
**II. Lifeguarding**:
- Performs Beach Lifeguard / Inland Water Body Lifeguard duties, responsible for safeguarding the lives of persons bathing in coastal waters / inland waters where posted.
- Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
- Rescue participants injured during water sports activities and provide first aid. Ensure that safety rules are followed.
- Assist in beach safety / water safety related activities. Provide information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
- Tactfully warns persons who repeatedly disregard safety rules, and reports their behaviour to the Beach Captain.
- Maintain daily logs and records as required.
- Answer calls for help and perform rescue and resuscitation work
- Use rescue equipment for e.g. rescue boards, rescue tubes
- Warn bathers of beach and water hazards
- Administer first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Maintain and clean all rescue equipment, working space/tower
- Take charge of lost children
- Answer questions of beach visitors
- Advice regarding local beach and waterway related ordinances
- Serve as a crewmember or ride-along on rescue boats and in lifeguard vehicles
- Assist in salvage operations of small boats and their property
- Marking of safe swimming area by flags/buoys
- Taking care of beach warning and information signage
- Attend In Service Training
- Maintain physical condition as required for the job duties
- Maintain clean workplace & clean appearance (hair cut, nails, trimmed beard/clean shave) and good personal hygiene
**Qualifications and Skills**
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Computer & Tech savvy
- Based out of North Goa
- Ability to communicate in **English and Konkani/ Marathi**
**Salary**: From ₹18,000.00 per month
