Typesetter

Argument-Driven Inquiry is a STEM education company located in Austin, Texas.

We are looking for two Typesetters. This is a full-time, contract position.

Duties
- Set and arrange type for printing materials, such as books, magazines, newspapers, and advertisements
- Use computer software and typesetting machines to format and arrange text and images
- Proofread and edit text to ensure accuracy and consistency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with graphic designers, editors, and clients to determine layout and design specifications
- Make adjustments to spacing, margins, and font sizes to ensure readability and aesthetic appeal
- Prepare final files for printing or digital publication

Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in graphic design or typesetting is a plus
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a related role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent knowledge of typography principles and design elements
- Familiarity with printing processes and file preparation for print production

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
