**JOB DESCRIPTION**

To perform administrative and routine clerical tasks. Their responsibilities may include organizing and managing files, scheduling meetings and appointments, and supporting other staff with organizational tasks.

**Responsibilities for Office Assistant**

1. Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings

2. Answering and directing telephone calls and taking messages.

3. Managing and organizing office files, records, and documents.

4. Filing and retrieving documents as needed.

5. Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

6. Maintaining and updating office databases, spreadsheets, and other electronic records.

7. Assisting with the scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and conferences.

8. 10. Drafting and typing correspondence, reports, and other documents.

9. 12. Coordinating with other departments and external stakeholders as required.

**Qualifications for Office Assistant**
- General education degree (GED) required, (Basic Degree through Regular Mode)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, typing skills and ability to operate general office equipment.
- Computer Skills:

- MS Word / Excel / Power Point / Good Typing Skill (Tamil & English)

Experience Range:

- 1 to 3 Years
