Overview:

- A draftsman plays a crucial role in the design process by creating detailed technical drawings and plans that serve as for various projects. Draftsmen work closely with designers and other professionals to translate design concepts into accurate and comprehensive drawings. The role requires proficiency in drafting software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

**Responsibilities**:
Create Technical Drawings:
Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or project managers.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D
- Collaborate with Design Team:
Work closely with Designers and other team members to understand project requirements and design intent.
- Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings as needed.
- Ensure Compliance:
Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Review and Revise Drawings:
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Create Documentation:
Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings, including specifications, material lists, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate with Contractors:
Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to address any questions or issues related to drawings during the construction phase.
- Stay Updated on Technology:
Stay current with advancements in drafting software and technology to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
- Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and precision of drawings.
- Time Management:
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Qualifications:
Education: A degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in drafting roles is preferred.
- Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Problem-solving skills.
