**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Experience on GTM would be preferable (event, cross-domain linking, e-commerce, scroll tracking etc.)
- Setting up Google Analytics and Webmasters analyzing the visitor statistics and research and utilizing the data for planning future SEO strategies.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization with the team.
- Responsible for META tag and web content optimization for improved searchresults.
- Creation and submission of XML sitemaps, HTML/PHP sitemaps and robots.txt.
- Making page changes via FTP or through the use of various plug-ins via
- WordPress, Joomla or Custom CMS of clients.
- Extensive use of Social media like Facebook and Twitter for site promotion and updates.
- Effective use of Google Alerts for updates on competitor websites.
- Interacting with the client to update the progress and solve their queries daily.
- Work closely with social media & content teams for SEO projects.
- Work closely with website development team to suggest ideas for SEO friendly website design.
- Develop and implement link-building campaign.

**Requirements**:

- Sound knowledge of industry best practices.
- Deep Understanding of Technology Behind Search Engine, Google Webmaster Guidelines, Search Friendly Websites, Google Penalties & Recovery
- Strong awareness of Google Algorithm Updates
- Strong Knowledge of HTML & CMS Panels like WordPress; knowledge of PHP, Dreamweaver, and FileZilla will be an added advantage.
- Expertise with Excel Reporting (Filters, VLOOKUP, Calculation Formulas, Pivot, Graph, Chart)
- Hands-on experience with tools like SEMrush is desired.
- Knowledge of Tech Tools: Firebug, Webmaster, Hootsuite, Yoono, Google Page Speed, GTMetrix, Alexa, Google Keyword Planner
