Overview:

- Knowledge of aircraft and understanding the functions of various aerospace components
- Expert in Finite element meshing (1D, 2D, 3D ) using Hypermesh - DFEM & GFEM
- Should be capable of idealizing the structure (both GFEM and DFEM)
- Experience on using connections like MPCs, Stuck nodes, Glue elements, CFAST etc
- Experience in modifying the Nastran deck and Capable of handling FE files
- Experience in submitting and debugging issues with Nastran Runs
- Well versed in post-processing FE results and capable of presenting the FEM results
- Experience in FE Validations
- Very well-versed in stress reports
- Good in excel macros, Tcl/Tk, PCL

Desired Skills:

- Pre Processing: Hypermesh (above 2021) and Patran
- Solver: Nastran (mandatory) and Optistruct (Desirable)
- Post Processing: Hyperview and Patran
- Excel & VBA, Tcl/Tk, PCL (Desirable)
- Python Scripting (Desirable)
- Catia V5, AIRENA (Basic knowledge)
