**ETL Tester Job Description**
- Conduct thorough testing of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on ETL requirements and specifications. Execute test cases and document results meticulously.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems to ensure consistency and accuracy of data transformations.
- Identify, track, and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Collaborate with development and ETL teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that ETL changes or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Execute performance tests on ETL processes to assess efficiency, scalability, and stability. Identify performance bottlenecks and work with the development team to optimize performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defects for future reference and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and ensure the successful delivery of ETL solutions.

**Competencies**:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ETL testing, with a strong understanding of ETL concepts and processes.
- Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter or other ETL tools. Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and understand data relationships.
- Knowledge of testing techniques, methodologies, and best practices related to ETL testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Salary**: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
