Firefighter

Perform firefighting work including preventing, combating and extinguishing fires with the goal of protecting lives, the environment and property.
- Operating tools and equipment used for firefighting safely and effectively.
- Providing appropriate medical care within their scope of knowledge in emergency situations.
- Analyzing hazardous situations and thinking of quick solutions and actions.
- Teaching and participating in training classes and drills in firefighting, emergency medical care, disaster response and specialized rescue.
- Performing general maintenance on firefighting equipment and facilities.
- Maintaining a clean environment in the department facilities.
- Protects citizens during emergencies.
- Executes rescues.
- Prevents fire damage by conducting surveys and inspections for hazards and enforcing codes.
- Prepares citizens to prevent fire damage by developing and conducting educational and training programs.
- Ensures availability of water at fire scene by testing hydrants, requesting and expediting repairs, and verifying repairs.
- Minimizes fire damage by responding to alarms, driving and operating equipment, regulating water pressure, combating and extinguishing fires, and rescuing and reviving people.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Notifies supervisor of needed repairs.
- Evaluates new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Provides information by completing reports.
- Handles minor medical care and other emergency services.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, studying publications, and participating in scheduled drills.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Experience**:

- Experience of 1 to 2 years in the relevant role in a reputed infrastructure.

**Salary**:

- Rs. 14,000/ - to Rs. 16,500/- gross monthly. PF, ESI, Gratuity & Bonus paid by company in accordance with the respective Acts.
