**What we are looking for **Big Data Hadoop Administrator**

**ExperienceRange**: 8 -12 years

**Location**:Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Kolkata

**Must Have**
- Relevant Experience in Hadoop Big Data Infrastructure Experience - 3 to 5 Years
- Experience in Build, Upgrade and maintain Hadoop clusters with several nodes.
- Hands on Experience performing OS Upgrades
- Experience working on CDH to CDP version upgrades
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS because Hadoop runs on Linux
- Knowledge of high degree configuration management and automation tool like Puppet for non-trivial installation.
- Knowing of core java is a plus for a Hadoop admin but not mandatory.
- Experience in Kerberos with Activity Directory
- Good understanding of OS concepts, process management and resource scheduling.
- Working Knowledge on components in the Hadoop ecosystem like Apache HBase, Apache Hive, Apache Solr, Impala, Ranger, Hue, Oozie.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of services running on Hadoop clusters.
- Performance tuning.
- Setup of backup and recovery.
- Troubleshooting User issues which include User on boarding, job failures.
- Installing and integrating of a new service onto the Hadoop cluster.
- Estimate the Hadoop clusters growth.
- 24x7 Database Production Support
- Experience on ITIL Process areas - mainly Incident

**Minimum Qualification**:

- 15years of full-time education
- Minimumpercentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
