**Educational Qualifications**:M. Sc. in microbiology

**Experience**: 3 to 4 years

**Roles and Responsibility**

Ø Should have knowledge of microbiological testing for food related products including functional foods, sugar-based foods, health supplements.

Ø Should know health or sanitation standards, scientific research methodology, the metric system, and mathematics and statistics.

Ø Should be able to conduct standardized laboratory analyses individually, perform statistical analyses, and identify the organisms reporting and interpretations.

Ø Follow good laboratory processes and adhere to highest level of accuracy in testing method

Ø Regulatory aspects of food including FSSAI, USFDA, EU etc
