Key Responsibilities:
- Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
- Always put the customers’ needs first.
- Conducting competent and knowledgeable eye tests.
- Greeting customers immediately when they enter the store. Shows urgency in providing service to customers and satisfying their needs, and has a high customer's service-oriented eye test.
- Building a strong relationship with customers by engaging them by explaining the eye exam process.
- Exploring the underlying reasons for recurring customer problems and also going the extra mile to find the solutions.
- Anticipating the problems before they occur and having a plan of action for them at store level.

Eye Test Quality Assurance and Sales
- Examine eyes, using observation, and instruments, to determine visual acuity, perception, focus and coordination
- Responsible for converting the prospective customers into actual customers.
- Ensure all customers receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
- Effective communication with all retail associates to ensure seamless customer experience

Inventory Management
- Having a basic understanding of the POS system is necessary to ensure transactions are properly and effectively processed
- Working very closely with various departments in the organization till the product reaches the customer
- Approaching customers and keeping the store neatly stacked to avoid shrinkage

Security & Hygiene
- Ensuring the store and the inventory are neat and clean at all times
- Maintaining the necessary safety measures to ensure the safety of the store and customers
- Employees at store level, engaging in the customer experience need to be properly groomed and
- presentable to the customer. Uniforms need to be neat, clean, and pressed.

Competencies & Educational Qualifications:

- Diploma/Degree/Post Graduate Degree Holder in Optometry with a minimum of 0-3 years of relevant experience in the industry.
- Entrepreneurial thinking mindset: self-motivated and self-directed with an ability to think innovatively.
- People management: ability to lead, manage, & develop large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for Results: high degree of commitment with a bias for execution excellence.
- Customer Focus: Ability to design processes and systems & create an environment for enabling customer delight.
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

Home Eye Check -up service in 7 cities with over 300+ eye check-ups every day at consumer’s houses. 150 plus Brick & Mortar Stores pan India (including tier 2 and 3 cities) as centers for people to get their eyes checked and book orders online as well as get their post-sale adjustments done. Network of Affiliate Doctors who place orders for their consumers online on the Lenskart platform. Majority of Lenskart eye-frames and prescription lenses are designed in-house and come to consumers directly from manufacturing to retail. Post a spectacle order is received, each frame is individually fitted with the respective prescription in the company's own in-house state-of-the-art (first in India) manufacturing facility, before it is dispatched. By owning the process end to end, the company not only provides 1 year warranty on all products sold but also a significant 50% price benefit over any other optical chain in India. Lenskart raised its first round of funding of 22 Cr INR from IDG Ventures India (IDGVI) in 2011. When the company was selling 30 specs a day online. In 2013, when the company was selling nearly 200 specs online per day, Ronnie Screwvala led Unilazer Ventures, along with IDG again, invested around INR 53 crores in the company. Today Lenskart is making nearly 2000 specs a day shipped pan India and has so far shipped over 10 Lac specs across the country.
