Buggy Pilot

**Role**

A Buggy Pilot at Quidich is deployed on some of the most exciting sports projects across the world. The Pilot is at the forefront of where the action takes place on ground. Apart from providing innovative ways in which the BuggyQam can enhance the broadcast, the pilot is expected to translate the company strategy for this service into actionable goals, being fully accountable for its implementation. The Pilot, along with the Cinematographer are responsible for successful delivery of projects, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Moreover, being the boots on ground, Quidich depends on all its operators to suggest and/or develop hardware, software and operational improvements to enhance efficiency in all operations. Finally, as the Pilot develops their skills, they will get the opportunity to groom younger/ newer talent on the team.

**Responsibilities**
- Piloting the Buggy on projects in a way that adheres to the company's policies on safety and privacy, while ensuring delivery of quality exceeding clients expectations.
- Liasoning with the Camera team and Director to devise shots and framing, ensuring that the BuggyQam is optimally utilized to provide the best output.
- Training new Buggy Pilots to a standardized level of competence.
- Managing equipment, including scheduling and/or undertaking routine maintenance, in your custody to ensure it remains fully functional and in prime operating conditions at all times.
- Creating and maintaining a Standard Operating Procedure for operation and maintenance of the Buggy Qam in different use-cases.
- Ensuring that there is no material loss to the company resulting from missing/misplaced.
- Requisitioning any supplementary or replacement items as required for the operation of the BuggyQam from the operations team and maintaining a cost ledger for the same.
- Following all processes related to the operations team or otherwise, on a timely basis and suggesting improvements where required.
- Upholding the values and culture of the company while on projects and otherwise.

**Required Skills**:

- Good communication skills
- Experience in driving RC cars
- In depth knowledge of computers
- Ability to multitask

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of cameras
- Understanding of PID tuning
- Advanced knowledge of RC Cars and ancillary equipment maintenance
- Basic Knowledge of Embedded electronics/Robotics

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
