**Job Title**: Assistant Professor/Lecturer in MCA Department at Harsha Institute of Management Studies, Thyamagondlu Hobili, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru.

**Qualification and Experience**: MCA/MSc (Computer Science)/BE (Computer Science & Engineering/Information Science & Engineering) with 60% marks. Teaching experience of atleast 3 years in handling classes for MCA and BCA students in a reputed College.

**Responsibilities**:
**Teaching and Curriculum Development**:
Delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials to MCA and BCA students.
Developing course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans.
Creating assignments, projects, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback.
Guiding students in their academic pursuits, including advising on course selections and career paths.

**Research and Scholarship**:
Conducting independent research in your field of expertise.
Publishing research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
Participating in collaborative research projects with colleagues, students, and external partners.
Securing research grants and funding to support your research endeavors.
Presenting research at conferences and academic events.

**Mentoring and Advising**:
Mentoring and guiding graduate students in their research projects.
Advising students on academic, research, and career-related matters.
Providing guidance and support to students' personal and professional growth.

**Academic Administration**:
Participating in departmental meetings and committees.
Contributing to the development and improvement of the MCA and BCA programs.
Assisting with program accreditation and assessment processes.
Engaging in academic quality assurance and enhancement initiatives.

**Professional Development**:
Attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Engaging in continuous learning and pursuing advanced degrees, if applicable.

**Community Engagement**:
Collaborating with industry partners for internships, projects, and placements.
Engaging with local and global technology communities.
Participating in outreach programs, workshops, and events to promote computer education.

**Service and Outreach**:
Contributing to the university's and department's service activities.
Participating in outreach efforts to promote the MCA and BCA programs.
Serving on academic and administrative committees as needed.

**Ethical and Professional Conduct**:
Upholding academic and ethical standards in teaching, research, and interactions with students and colleagues.
Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
