**Storage Support Engineer**

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Overview**:
We are seeking a Storage Support Engineer to provide remote hardware and software support for storage solutions. The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues, collaborating with on-site engineers, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support for storage hardware and software to customers and engineers.
- Collaborate with onsite engineers and support managers to resolve problems.
- Understand issue criticality and business impact, ensuring timely solutions.
- Meet defined SLAs for response and resolution times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups for timely issue resolution.

**Must-Have Skills**:

- Strong fundamentals in storage and SAN technologies.
- Knowledge of Fiber Channel and ISCSI technology.
- Proficiency in HP Storage Products.
- Familiarity with at least one operating system.

**Experience Requirements**:

- 0-4+ years of experience in service and support for backup/nearline products.
- Experience solving complex problems involving SAN or library components.
- 1-2 years of field support experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic storage concepts (RAID, SAN, NAS).
- Support experience for at least two operating systems in a clustered SAN environment.
- Proficiency with HP's L&TT Tools and tape drive technologies (DLT, SDLT, LTO1 to LTO5).
- General knowledge of SAN infrastructure, blade environments, and associated SAN products.
- Understanding of networking concepts and iSCSI protocol.
- Knowledge of storage arrays (EVA, MSA, NAS, XP Storage).

**Education and Certifications**:

- B.E/B.Tech or Master's Degree in a Technical Discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Professional certifications such as A+ and Server+ are mandatory.
- Additional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are preferred.
- Experience in technical support for IT environments, focusing on servers and networking.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
