Mechanical Fitter

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter - Lubricant Additives Industry

Location: Sajgon, Khopoli

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, mixers, and reactors.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential faults or areas for improvement, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to industry regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring it meets specifications and operates correctly.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the lubricant additives industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose mechanical problems effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to mechanical maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification or formal training in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with automated control systems and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Familiarity with lubricant additives manufacturing processes and equipment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
