Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
- Transform business function requirements into Functional specs to Support technical team for preparing the technical specs and code, test and debug programs.
- Document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
- Engage other Functional team members in the design, delivery, and delivering the solutions.
- Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
- Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.
- Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
- Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
- Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Atleast 6 years of SAP SD experience and working with the manufacturing industry is preferable
- Very good know how in functional modules / processes in SD areas (including integration into related modules and functionalities such as Finance and Supply chain)
- Minimum of 1 - 2 end to end full cycle implementation experience.
- Strong experience in configuration and handling the processes/functionalities of Quotations/contracts, standard sales cycle, deliveries, LE-TRA, Pricing procedures, ATP, Batch management and MTS processes.
- Ability to work within a team management, proven track record of working hands on with teams on Functional aspects on SAP platform.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Strong communication skills
- ABAP knowledge to debug and identify any interrelated issues
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.

**1) Job Purpose**:

- Be a part of BIT (Central Help Desk) with the techno-functional expertise in Sales and Distribution module of SAP. SD is a critical module which is used in all units across the business with interfaces to all other modules. Optimizing/Maximizing the usage for Business benefits and deriving synergistic benefits thru standardization of processes
- Proactively engage in SAP deployment at units (Across Globe) and build knowledge related to SD module and interfaces e.g., CRM
- Set up processes and bring in Best Practices in SAP SD across. Provide solution to business units as and when required.
- Ensuring all Functional support is to a high-quality standard without business interruption

**2) Job Context & Major Challenges**:

- Understanding functional needs at Business/Unit levels and addressing them
- Conceptualising, mapping and reuse the SD/CRM standard processes across in SAP instances
- Standardisation of SD processes/reports
- Assist the centralized Helpdesk to resolve SD related issues
- Dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams
- Managing multiple tasks/assignments with staggered due dates and deadlines through effective time management
- Analyses business/ functional requirements and prepares project schedule, tasks, and estimates.
- Leads SD Functional and other activities as necessary.
- Ensures compliance of SD Functional processes to meet the SAP audit requirements
