**Job Description**:

- The SAP MM functional consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and supporting the SAP MM module within an organization. They are responsible for analyzing complex business process requirements and providing suitable system solutions. Some of their key responsibilities include:
- 1. Requirement Gathering: The consultant facilitates workshops to collect business requirements from the client. They should have excellent communication skills to understand the client's needs.- 2. Unit Testing and Integration Testing: The consultant is involved in the testing phase of the implementation project. They design, customize, configure, and test the MM modules to ensure they meet the client's requirements.- 3. Coordinating UAT: The consultant coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensures that the MM module is working as expected before going live.- 4. Cutover Activities: The consultant is responsible for handling cutover activities in an implementation project. They ensure a smooth transition from the old system to the new SAP MM module.- 5. Solution Mapping: The consultant must have a good understanding of procurement processes and be able to map the client's business requirements to the SAP MM module.- 6. Troubleshooting: The consultant acts as a liaison with clients to investigate, analyze, and solve software problems. They should have strong problem-solving skills to identify and propose workarounds or system enhancements.- 7. Documentation: The consultant documents functional designs, test cases, and results. This documentation is important for future reference and to ensure the smooth functioning of the MM module.- 8. Training and User Support: The consultant provides ad-hoc training and user support as required.
