Reinforcement Foremen

**Job Title: Reinforcement Foremen**

**Location**: [Chennai. Tamilnadu]

**Responsibilities**:

- Review construction drawings, reinforcement details, and bar bending schedules (BBS) to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with site engineers and construction managers to plan daily tasks and workforce allocation.
- Supervise rebar installation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of steel fixers, helpers, and other site workers.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to workers for efficient and safe reinforcement work.
- Ensure rebar is free from rust, oil, or other contaminants before placement.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of reinforcement materials.
- Conduct toolbox talks to educate workers on safe practices related to reinforcement activities.
- Maintain records of reinforcement work, including progress, material usage, and labor
- Verify material reconciliation and ensure mínimal wastage.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or relevant technical certification
- At least 10 years of experience in rebar fixing and supervision, with at least 15 years on high-rise residential projects.
- Proficiency in reading reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Knowledge of steel grades, rebar cutting, bending, and tying techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
