**Job Summary - **A Housekeeping Executive will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and overall maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the resort. He will manage a team of housekeeping staff and work closely with other departments to provide a pleasant and comfortable environment for guests.
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housekeeping supervisors, laundry staff, and public area cleaners.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards.
- Train and develop the housekeeping team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the resort.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and resolve any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and other departments to address repair and maintenance needs in guest rooms and public areas.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Ensure guest rooms are prepared according to the resort's standards, including cleanliness, amenities, and appearance.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to housekeeping matters.
- Collaborate with the front office and other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any housekeeping-related issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and quality standards, and take necessary corrective actions.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Monitor and control expenses related to housekeeping supplies, equipment, and labor.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and amenities, and coordinate with purchasing for timely procurement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Train and educate housekeeping staff on safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on housekeeping operations, including occupancy, cleaning schedules, staff performance, and maintenance requests. Maintain records of cleaning activities, inventory usage, and expenses.

Skills Requirements:

- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or systems.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Education Qualification**:

- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or Dilpoma in Hotel Management.
