The MIS Executive cum Executive Assistant to the Managing Director (M.D.) is responsible for overseeing the management and analysis of information systems and providing high-level administrative support to the M.D. This dual role requires expertise in data management, report generation, and executive administration.
Key Responsibilities:MIS Responsibilities:
- **Data Management and Analysis**:
- Develop and manage databases and information systems to support organizational needs.
- Analyze data trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to the M.D. and senior management.
- **Report Preparation**:
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, including performance metrics, sales data, and financial summaries.
- Design and maintain dashboards to visualize key data points and support decision-making.
- **System Oversight**:
- Ensure the MIS systems are up-to-date, secure, and functioning effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data systems and software.
- **Data Integration and Process Improvement**:
- Integrate data from various sources to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in data management and reporting.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- **Administrative Support to M.D.**:
- Manage the M.D.'s calendar, schedule meetings, and arrange travel logistics.
- Prepare, review, and organize correspondence, reports, and presentations for the M.D.
- **Meeting Coordination**:
- Plan and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the M.D.
- **Office Management**:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations related to the M.D.'s office, including managing supplies and coordinating with vendors.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- **Communication and Liaison**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the M.D., managing communication and ensuring efficient information flow.
- **Project Support**:
- Assist the M.D. with special projects, including research, planning, and execution.
- Provide administrative support for project management and strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in MIS tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, SQL, data visualization platforms).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
- **Administrative Skills**:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- **Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills**:
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
- **Interpersonal Skills**:
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and other stakeholders.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- **Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in MIS and executive support roles, with a track record of managing high-level administrative functions.
