**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Designation - Accounts**
**Experience - 6-10 Years**
**Location - Faizabad**
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
2. **Budgeting and Forecasting**:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost control.
3. **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations relevant to the healthcare sector.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
4. **Internal Controls**:
- Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard hospital assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
5. **Cost Accounting**:
- Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately allocate costs across various departments and services.
- Analyze cost trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
6. **Revenue Cycle Management**:
- Oversee the hospital's revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
- Work closely with billing and coding teams to optimize revenue capture and minimize denials.
7. **Financial Systems Management**:
- Manage and optimize financial software systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the hospital.
- Collaborate with IT to implement upgrades and improvements.
8. **Audit Coordination**:
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
9. **Team Leadership and Development**:
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-functional teamwork.
10. **Ad-hoc Financial Projects**:
- Undertake special projects and financial analyses as assigned by senior management.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and business development.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a significant portion in the healthcare or hospital industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare accounting standards, regulations, and reimbursement processes.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
