Your Role and Responsibilities

The Energy Coordinator will ensure that a variety of Energy related tasks are completed accurately and on time to IBM standards specifications. This position will oversee these tasks, including energy tracking, compliance with IBM ISO 50001 requirements, and awareness of country specific energy requirements, support and attainment of IBM’s long-term and short-term corporate energy conservation goals. This position serves as the primary interface between IBM Cloud, the Energy Management Center of excellence (COE), and co-location centers’ landlords.

These responsibilities require multi-tasking and effective organization skills. Strong project management, analytical, time management, communications, and leadership skills are necessary. Must be comfortable working face to face with many groups as well as remote teams in the virtual environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage, track and report progress on Energy tracking and support systems including:

- IBM Cloud Energy tracking
- Enterprise Energy Management (EEM) system
- Bill Entry
- Measures
- Annual Data Verification program
- (World Wide) WW Energy Management & Checklists
- (World Wide Building Database) WWBldg
- A/P interface - DocLink
- Water Conservation
- Point of contact for all Energy related activities
- Global energy and environmental compliance, as required by local legislation
- Submit energy reports to third party entities where required
- Participation in the Environmental Management System (EMS) process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Energy domain
- At least 2 year’s experience in managing, tracking and reporting progress on multiple projects simultaneously
- Worked within tools such as Envizi, Cority or Nlyte
- Proficient with MS Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Familiar with Data tools like Oracle and report building techniques
- Advanced, in depth knowledge of energy principles and concepts
- Ability to document new and existing processes and procedures
- Education- Bachelor’s degree in Energy or environmentally related field
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, mechanical, industrial, or civil)
- Experience- At least 5 years managing, tracking and reporting progress on multiple projects simultaneously
- At least 3 years involving critical infrastructure design and functionality - HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation, and control systems across a variety of building types (Commercial and Data Center)
- At least 3 years in energy management, energy conservation, performance contracting of energy engineering
- Certification- Certified Energy Manager Certificate
- Professional Engineer

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's Degree
- Readiness to travel if required
- English: Fluent
